Steve Sellars is the CEO of Premier Health. Premier Health owns and operates more than 80 Urgent Care centers through multiple joint-venture partnerships with leading health systems and provides management services and support for all affiliated organizations.

Steve has 30 years of healthcare management experience, including eight years in the managed care industry and five years with one of the largest health systems in the Gulf South. Steve has worked exclusively in Urgent Care management since 2004, growing Premier Health by more than 500% over the last five years. His background includes significant executive management experience with health systems, physician groups, and other healthcare organizations, and extensive experience in medical group management, expansion, managed care contract negotiations, and strategic planning and development.

Steve was the 2016-2017 Board President of the Urgent Care Association (UCA) and has served as UCA Secretary and Chair of the UCA Education Committee. He received the 2019 UCA Lifetime Membership Award and currently serves as Board Chair and Trustee of the Urgent Care Foundation. Steve also serves on the board of a multi-site rehabilitation company, is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, and an adjunct faculty member at Franciscan University. Steve earned his M.B.A. from Louisiana State University where he also completed his undergraduate studies. Go Tigers!
