​Developing a Quality Plan and improving it over time is a critically important and challenging task for any healthcare organization, regardless of size, complexity or focus. Even though the overall objective of quality planning and reporting is a shared desire to improve patient care, each organization has different needs, experiences and culture and accordingly, their Quality Plans and reporting templates will be uniquely reflective of their circumstances. The objective of this course is to assist the urgent care operator in developing an effective Quality Plan by developing guidelines for Quality Plans that will create a framework for action and high performance, producing aids and tools that can be adapted and used in various settings, provide a practical guide to follow in the creation of a Quality program.
