Full Description

The College of Urgent Care Medicine will present Listserv Live #5, addressing vital signs processes in the urgent care setting, on April 21st from 4-5pm CDT. It’s designed for clinicians and practice administrators responsible for implementing processes and mitigating risks.

Join Michael Weinstock, MD, Senior Clinical Editor, The Journal of Urgent Care Medicine (JUCM), professor of Emergency Medicine, Adjunct, Department of Emergency Medicine, Wexner Medical Center at The Ohio State University and a panel of your colleagues for this discussion. Attendees will receive a customizable vital signs policy template drafted by members of the Clinical Response Task Force.

20-40% of urgent care patients are not affiliated with a medical home*, elevating the responsibility of the urgent care provider when vital signs are abnormal. There is vital sign process variability in urgent care settings from intake to discharge—this is an opportunity to rethink and redefine your processes aligned with today’s clinical best practices.
