Pediatric Gastrointestinal Disorders

$0.00

Many of these patients present with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and broad symptoms ranging from vague to specific.

Full Description

Pediatric patients comprise a quarter of Urgent Care visits. Many of these patients present with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders and broad symptoms ranging from vague to specific. Determining exact signs and physical exam findings leave providers uncertain how to diagnose and treat pediatric patients. Through the use of ROME IV criteria, North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology recommendations, and clinical decision rules, you will learn how to identify common pediatric GI conditions and utilize differential diagnoses to guide your treatment plan and management. Determining when lab testing and radiography imaging is warranted, as well as identifying patients who need referral to the ED or GI specialty will be reviewed.
