UCA membership empowers you to succeed in the competitive Urgent Care landscape. As a UCA member you will gain exclusive benefits to a large selection of practice management and clinical resources as well as unique educational and networking opportunities. The Urgent Care Association offers three categories of membership to meet the growing demands of the Urgent Care industry: Organization, Individual & Corporate membership.
Yes. Organizations can join as a Pre-opening Center until their center becomes operational. The company will still be recognized as a member and have access to all benefits and resources either free or at a discounted rate.
You may enroll online via the website or by phone at 1-877-698-2262 option 2
UCA will use the organization’s membership application, entity documentation, and website (or other advertisements) to determine which centers should be included.
A center is excluded from the membership when the center’s advertised services do not include Urgent Care services. This includes the use of Urgent Care, immediate care, walk-in care, or convenient care in the name or center description.
The center may be excluded if both ownership and management are separate. In these instances, the separation would need to be evident to the public and each center clearly identified as a member/non-member center in all uses of membership in advertisement (i.e., website).
UCA has Individual Memberships options as well: UCA Member, UCA/CUCM Member, Digital Member, and Student/Resident Member.
We have many vendors who are valued UCA members. Learn more about becoming a Corporate Member here.
Center Membership covers the organization. This allows company affiliates (i.e., clinical and practice management staff) access to member benefits for FREE. On the other hand, Individual Membership only covers ONE person and cannot be shared amongst others.
Certification is a designation program that tells the public and payers that the Urgent Care centers scope of practice is consistent with a set of UCA criteria, defining easy access and services that allow for care of a broad spectrum of illness, injury, and disease.
Accreditation designation program advances an Urgent Care organization to the highest level of distinction in patient care through safety, quality & scope of services.
Membership is NOT a designation program. Membership is optional and no criteria must be met for eligibility.
The North East Regional Urgent Care Association (NERUCA) was the first regional chapter of UCA. This partnership combines UCA’s national strength with NERUCA’s local representation throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
The mission of the California Urgent Care Association (CalUCA) is to support the ongoing success of our membership through strong advocacy and education and to promote Urgent Care as a patient-oriented, accessible, and cost-effective sector of our healthcare system. Urgent Care has grown to become an essential part of California’s healthcare delivery system.
The Southeast Regional Urgent Care Association represents the interests of Urgent Care in its eight member states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Representing their interests has become increasingly important in the face of legislative and regulatory attempts to negatively impact our practices across the Southeast.
The vision of the Urgent Care Association Egypt & MENA is to lead Urgent Care medicine in the Middle East and North Africa.
UCA MENA will promote Urgent Care medical concepts and best practices among healthcare professionals, and establish a network of Urgent Care team members and organizations in the region.
