Jackie McDevitt-Capetola is Director of Urgent Care Education at Hippo Education. She formerly held the position of Lead Advanced Practitioner at Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care and is an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University. Jackie is an emergency medicine trained PA, and in her current role she covers both the clinical and administrative sides of urgent care. Throughout her career at Northwell GoHealth, she has helped spearhead and launch various initiatives and projects, including antibiotic stewardship initiatives, student rotation coordination, streamlining triage processes, provider and staff training, workflow efficiencies, skills workshops and staffing model modifications.
