This study evaluated an Antibiotic Stewardship intervention across 49 Urgent Care centers (UCCs) in 27 networks spanning 18 states. The study found that implementing Stewardship interventions in UCCs may reduce inappropriate antibiotic prescriptions for common diagnoses. This shows the importance of Antibiotic Stewardship programs and active clinician engagement in Urgent Care centers.
