Shantell is a communications professional with a diverse background in both internal and external communications. With a passion for helping organizations elevate their messaging, she specializes in content writing, social media management, brand identity maintenance, and public relations strategies. Prior to joining UCA, she honed her expertise in the higher education and nonprofit sectors, where she developed a deep understanding of storytelling and audience engagement. She is also a passionate screenwriter, extending her love of writing beyond her professional work.

A proud Maryland native, she enjoys a delicious plate of crab legs to cheering on her favorite football teams. Above all, her favorite past time is spending quality time with her family.
