Dr. Patrick O’Malley attended medical school at East Carolina University and then completed an emergency medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. He has 17 years of community emergency medicine and urgent care experience.  

He is passionate about clinical education and partnered with EB Medicine to create both The Laceration Course and The Abscess Course. He enjoys working with urgent care groups and individual clinicians to help them improve the quality of care and improve their confidence. He frequently lectures and provides workshops at urgent care conferences. 

He is honored and excited to continue working with other Urgent Care leaders to advance the specialty and improve patient care through the college.
