The Urgent Care Foundation kicked off its grassroots workforce education at the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) FUTURE Conference July 31-August 2. The Conference, designed for residents and students to choose their path, resulted in great exposure for and conversations around Urgent Care as a career path for family medicine physicians.
Attendees expressed excitement at the idea of Urgent Care fulfilling their desire for work-life balance and making a difference. Additionally, they were educated about the leadership opportunities, variety and exposure to higher acuity that Urgent Care affords family medicine physicians.
AAFP FUTURE marks the first of many shows UCF will attend as part of its workforce education initiative.
