Steve Sellars Attends AAPA Leadership and Advocacy Summit

Our Chief Executive Officer, Steve Sellars, attended AAPA’s Leadership and Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C. to represent UCA, CUCM and the field of Urgent Care and the ongoing commitment to strengthen the voice of Physician Associates within healthcare — particularly in Urgent Care settings, where PAs play a critical and growing role in expanding access to timely, high-quality care. Through collaboration with key stakeholders and policymakers, UCA continues to advocate for legislative and regulatory changes that empower PAs to practice to the full extent of their training, ultimately enhancing patient care delivery and improving healthcare outcomes.

Steve Sellars on his time at the AAPA Leadership and Advocacy Summit
“It was a privilege to attend the AAPA Leadership and Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC. The Urgent Care industry employs thousands of PAs—a number that will only grow as more Americans face challenges accessing high-quality, cost-effective care. I was encouraged to learn about AAPA’s initiatives to enhance healthcare, and I see many opportunities for more collaboration between AAPA and UCA going forward.”
