Meet Barbara Khozam, your Monday keynote speaker at the Urgent Care Convention.
Barbara is excited to see you all at the 2025 Urgent Care Convention. She hopes you will join her at the General Session on Monday!
Our member, Northwell Health, launches the Northwell School of Health Sciences in September 2025. This school is an extension of Northwell’s partnership with the New York City Board of Education, to train and prepare high school students for careers in healthcare.
“We see this as education being a key pillar of health by providing the right education that can lead to meaningful jobs to pay a good wage,” Naidich said. “We’re also improving the health of our communities at the same time as we’re creating [jobs].”
With recruitment and retention being a driving force in the field, this is one approach to address the need.
