The 2026 Foundation Celebration, held during the 2026 Urgent Care Convention at the Historic Hilton Chicago Ballroom on Monday, April 13, 2026, has some fresh and exciting updates:
Theme & Atmosphere
We will embrace the Roaring 1920s/speakeasy vibe, building on the “Amplify” convention theme. Expect flapper-inspired décor, specialty cocktail bars and a chic speakeasy feel to elevate the experience.
Evening Structure
Cocktail Reception & Sit-Down Dinner: Guests will enjoy a lively cocktail reception and silent auction followed by an elegant dinner with more ways to give, and dancing.
Entertainment
From the jazz trio welcoming you into the cocktail reception to a local DJ keeping the energy high for dancing all night, music is a big part of the evening.
Why It Matters
This Celebration isn’t just a party—it’s a fundraising powerhouse for the Foundation’s educational campaigns and awareness efforts for a national voice for Urgent Care, ensuring Urgent Care’s vital role is understood by the public, patients and payers.
Urgent Updates are curated highlights of guidelines, reviewed by (and some directly coming from) Urgent Care clinicians. These highlights represent the actual intent of these articles and how they relate to the practice of Urgent Care medicine.
Join Dr. Brian Bobb, Senior Medical Officer at WellStreet Urgent Care, and Annie Bell, PA-C, Vice President of Medical Affairs at Lumos Diagnostics. Dr. Bobb brings frontline leadership experience from a large, high-volume urgent care network, while Annie oversees clinical affairs for FebriDx®, the point-of-care diagnostic manufactured by Lumos Diagnostics. Together, they will discuss how FebriDx®—a rapid (results after 10 minutes) point-of-care test using a simple fingerstick blood sample—supports clearer, evidence-based decision-making, with real-world insights from WellStreet’s implementation.
