Vision for the Future of Urgent Care and Core Purpose for UCA for the next 3-5 Years:

Catherine is passionate about shaping the future of on-demand healthcare. She believes access to care (urgent care) plays a critical role in closing the gaps between outdated primary care models, overcrowded emergency departments, and fragmented specialty care. Catherine believes the urgent care industry is uniquely and optimally positioned to be a catalyst toward solving some of our nations most pressing healthcare challenges: access, increasing costs, fragmentation, and workforce burnout.  Her vision is to leverage urgent care’s infrastructure and entrepreneurial spirit to create solutions that:

  • Build bridges between the traditional primary care model, specialists and the ED while offering access to not only diagnostic care, but preventative care, on-demand.
  • Optimize team-based models that empower clinicians to practice at the top of their licenses.
  • Improve reimbursement by aligning with payers on value, efficiency and access.
  • Advance health equity through expanded access and localized service models
