This case-based episode asks our panel, “What would you do?” to different patient presentations for STIs. What requires a full screen, and what testing should be included in a full screen? Is self-swab appropriate? How would you approach treatment? And more.
Episode 2: When Is It OK To Test?
When is testing the answer? Our panel of clinicians discusses approaches to asymptomatic patients who present to the Urgent Care with STI concerns, ureaplasma, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and more. Urgent Care is an accessible way to seek care, and part of the UC clinician’s role is educating patients on when it is appropriate and not appropriate to test.
Episode 3: Special Populations
This episode focuses on higher-risk populations and targeted differences to consider when seeing patients in these populations.
