We have announced the latest class of Award recipients. These outstanding individuals are commended for their contributions to the advancement of Urgent Care.
Award winners will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon at the Urgent Care Convention on Sunday, May 4.

The surprise Outstanding Achievement Award will be announced at the Urgent Care Foundation Celebration on Monday, May 5 and a new surprise award will be unveiled at the College of Urgent Care Medicine and Urgent Care College of Physicians meeting on Tuesday, May 6.

In 2021 Mercy, St. Louis recognized Dr. Hansen as the Researcher of the Year. The College of Urgent Care Medicine (CUCM) is pleased to announce Paul Hansen, MD, FAAP, FACP, FCUCM as its newest Fellow.
Dr. Hansen has served as the National Chair of Clinical Quality for GoHealth Urgent Care since January 2022 and recently assumed additional responsibilities as the Interim Physician Lead for the State of Missouri with Mercy GoHealth. In 2021 Mercy, St. Louis recognized Dr. Hansen as the Researcher of the Year. He has published on clinical delivery in Urgent Care medicine, including the important topic of systemic steroid stewardship.
Dr. Hansen did his undergraduate studies at Maryville University, St. Louis Missouri, and received his Medical Degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. Tracey Davidoff, MD, FCUCM stated, “The CUCM Fellowship Committee is again thrilled to recognize someone of Dr. Hansen’s caliber as a Fellow. His commitment to research and subjects such as steroid stewardship are 100% aligned with the direction and focus of the Colleges. On behalf of the Committee, I would like to say, congratulations for earning the distinction as an FCUCM. We look forward to your continued clinical leadership.”
