The surprise Outstanding Achievement Award will be announced at the Urgent Care Foundation Celebration on Monday, May 5 and a new surprise award will be unveiled at the College of Urgent Care Medicine and Urgent Care College of Physicians meeting on Tuesday, May 6.

Urgent Care Foundation Silent Auction Items

We’re accepting items for our upcoming silent auction to help raise essential funds for our Foundation! Your contribution – whether it’s unique experience or a valuable item- will make a big impact. 

The funds raised will help go towards a national Public Relations campaign to help workforce recruitment and retention.

The Urgent Care Association Board of Directors Election

The 2025 Urgent Care Association Board of Directors nomination period opens tomorrow, February 14.

The nomination period is from February 14 – March 7

The College of Urgent Care Medicine Notification: Board of Directors Election Opens April 14, 2025

In accordance with the CUCM bylaws, The College of Urgent Care Medicine is providing a 60-day notification of its intent to open the election for its Board of Directors. 

The election will open via an email notification and voting link to each member on April 14th, 2025, and close during the Urgent Care Convention on May 6th, 2025.  The ballot link will be emailed to every member of the College. 

Any individual member who is a physician, NP, or PA is a member of the College, and any physician, NP, or PA are automatically members of the College if they have been designated under their organizational membership.

Whether your membership is an individual one or through your organization, you have a vote—one member, one vote. 

Unsure if you are a CUCM member?    You are encouraged to contact membership@urgentcareassociation.org to confirm or be added.  

The Nominating Committee, Chaired by Lisa Bishop, FNP, FCUCM, has been hard at work and looks forward to presenting its slate of candidates by the end of the month.  

Advocate Health to Close Walgreens Clinics in Wisconsin and Illinois

Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health Care will close its in-store clinics at Walgreens locations in Illinois and Wisconsin, effective Feb. 6, a spokesperson for the health system confirmed to Becker’s.

The health system said the move will allow it to expand patient-preferred care options, including virtual services, Urgent Care and primary care access.
