The College of Urgent Care Medicine Welcomes Its Newest Fellow

Corbin Bunnage, PA-C, FCUCM

The College of Urgent Care Medicine (CUCM) is pleased to announce its newest member to attain the distinction of Fellow.  Corbin Bunnage, PA-C, FCUCM serves as the Clinical Services Director and Managing Partner for Sterling Provider Group/ Sterling Urgent Care.  Sterling Urgent Care is a multi-site, multi-state Urgent Care organization.  Corbin is also a physician assistant educator at Idaho State University.  He received his Bachelor in P.A. Studies at Idaho State and an M.S. in Family and Emergency Medicine from A.T. Stills University in Mesa, AZ.  Congratulations to Corbin on earning distinguishing yourself as a Fellow in the College of Urgent Care Medicine!

The US 2022-2023 Tripledemic (SARS-CoV-2, Flu, and RSV) was an incredibly challenging time for both patients and the healthcare system. Dr. Amesh Adalja, an infectious disease physician and Senior Scholar at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Security, will discuss the value of rapid antigen testing and several lessons learned from last year’s Tripledemic. As we progress towards the 2024-2025 respiratory season, Urgent Care centers across the industry need to be prepared to address SARS-CoV-2, Flu, and RSV. Having access to low-cost, easy-to-use rapid antigen tests can assist providers in differentiating these viral infections and better ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
