This course will review the tick-borne illnesses seen in North America. Be able to recognize signs and symptoms of tick-borne illnesses that may present to your Urgent Care! Appropriate management for tick-borne illnesses will be reviewed, including a review of the controversies surrounding Lyme Disease management. Though the focus of the course will be on CDC guidelines, a review of ILADS recommendations will be presented.
