Guidance and Expectations for Presenting at the 2025 Urgent Care Convention

SPACE HOLDER FOR SPEAKER MEDIA KIT

Task 1 – Forms Due by February 2, 2025

Note: In the event the speaker agreement is not completed your session will be subject to cancellation.

Note: In the event the forms are not received by May 4, 2025, no honoraria will be processed.

Task 2 – Submit Your Financial Disclosure by February 5, 2025

Note: Poster presentations are subject to cancellation if all contributors to the poster have not submitted their financial disclosure form.

Note: Consultants are not required to submit financial disclosures.

The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) requires people who control the educational content of accredited CE activities to disclose financial relationships with ineligible companies. The purpose of this is to prevent conflicts of interest that could arise when individuals have the opportunity to influence CME content about the products or services of an ineligible company. 

Task 3 – Register for the Convention by March 1, 2025

Task 4 – Start Developing Your Presentation/Content on March 2, 2025 

All session rooms will have the following equipment available: projection screen, podium with presentation laptop, advancer, lapel mic, stage, wireless mic for attendee questions, chairs for attendees.

Posters and self-guided presentations will be located in the lobby area.

Task 5 – Presentation Due for Review by March 30, 2025

Task 6 – All Presentations Are Finalized By April 20, 2025

Task 7 – Practice Presentation Delivery

Task 8 – Present at the Convention May 4-6, 2025

  • Double check the agenda and note your session(s) room location and time!
  • Report to your session room 15 minutes prior to your session.

Task 9 – Post Convention

  • Claim your CME – For those that delivered clinical content, the preparation and delivery of your presentation is eligible for CME.

Designation Statement

The Urgent Care Association designates this speaker preparation activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM per 1 hour of presentation delivery. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Accreditation Statement

The Urgent Care Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
