Task 1 – Forms Due by January 28, 2024

Note: If you choose to waive  your honoraria, you may skip the next two documents. 

Task 2 – Start Developing Your Presentation on February 11, 2024 

  • Download the PowerPoint template – Download and resave with your last name and then session title.
  • Note: Download will open as a .potx (template); when you save as, the type will change to a .pptx.
  • Start creating your presentation.

Task 3 – Draft Presentation Due by March 10, 2024

Review Process

Every presentation is reviewed by the UCA learning team. The  team will insert comments into your presentation for Required Changes or for Recommended Changes.

An email will be sent to you to review comments. All updates can be made directly in the OneDrive, no need to upload new versions. To learn more about how comments work, click here.

All clinical presentations will be peer reviewed to follow ACCME requirements. Click here to review ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education.

Accreditation

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the Urgent Care Association and jointly provided with the North East Urgent Care Association. The Urgent Care Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

Task 4 – Final Presentation Due by March 31, 2024

  • All required changes should be completed.
  • All recommended changes should be completed, if desired.

Note: After this date, all presentations will be moved to a secured location for the technical team and made available to the attendees.

Task 5 – Practice Presentation

Task 6 – Present at the Convention April 13-17, 2024

  • Check the agenda and note your session room location.
  • Report to your session room 15 minutes prior to your session and meet with Luis de la Prida or Markintosh Barthelemy.

Task 7 – Post Convention

  • Claim your CMEFor those that delivered clinical content, the preparation and delivery of your presentation is eligible for CME.

Designation Statement

The Urgent Care Association designates this speaker preparation activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM per 1 hour of presentation delivery. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

Accreditation Statement

The Urgent Care Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
