Brandon has an extensive background in storytelling, editing, social media marketing, public relations, and award-winning journalism. In 2013, he wrote a children’s book to promote anti-bullying. He received his master’s degree two years later in English education just one week before entering the world of sports writing.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys reading books by anyone named Stephen King, writing mystery and thriller stories, cheering on his Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Hornets even when they’re losing, and volunteering in his community.
